Improve your ski technique – classic or skate – and have fun at the same time. The Fernie Nordic Society coaches will be on hand for a nordic ski camp for adults of all abilities on Dec 27 & 28, 2024 and another one for young skiers on Jan 2 & 4, 2024. You may choose to attend one or both sessions of the adult camp.

Adult Nordic Ski Camp
December 27, 2024 – Classic December 28, 2024 – Skate from 10 AM to 2 PM
Cost: $125 for one day $225 for both days
Kids Nordic Ski Camp
January 4, 2024 ** one day only ** from 10 AM to 1 PM
The members of race team will be waxing skis on November 10 & 11 at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre as a fundraiser. A little TLC will get your skis ready for the start of the season.
Drop your skis off for a fresh coat of wax – only $25 regular or $40 for race wax – and they will feel great!

This is a great fundraiser for the Fernie Nordic Racers!
Our racers will participate in several races in western Canada during the 2023-2024 season. The Teck Kootenay Cup events are just one of these events. Each finisher, young or adult, accumulates points toward the Cup. Go! Fernie Go!
The Teck Regional Cup series offer affordable, accessible competitive opportunities for developing athletes and are sponsored by Teck throughout B.C. All Regional Cup races offer age-appropriate categories for children 14 years of age and younger, and most offer the full spectrum of categories for skiers of all ages from the CCBC website.
Skiers of the Fernie Nordic Society have participated in the Teck Kootenay Cup series of races every year. Our club has won the Cup in the 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2017-2018 seasons and again in 2018-2019 in part due to the large participation by the young Fernie Nordic Racers of our own race team as well as by many adult skiers from Fernie. Any FNS club member who participates in these races contributes points for our team. So join in! All dates are posted on our calendar.
